I feel like I haven’t been on here in forever even though it’s only been a few days. The last couple of days have definitely been stressful as we wait and see if this new medication for little dude is going to do the trick. So far….it’s not looking so good. He was removed from class yesterday for hitting and kicking, yay. We got a call from his teacher this morning requesting that one of us sign up as a chaperone for their field trip that is coming up. I’m guessing this is an attempt to maintain as much control over him while they are away from school and it makes it easier if he needs to be sent home.
On the plus side we spent the day Saturday with hubby’s brother, wife, and their two kids at the Southwest Florida Heritage Festival. It was pretty neat, but we were definitely not prepared for the chilly weather. The cold front moved through MUCH faster than the weather man predicted so this mommy froze her butt off in shorts! Little dude got to go for a horseback ride which he was so excited about.

Sunday brought even colder temps to my beloved paradise which meant comfort food for dinner! I made a copycat recipe for Panera’s broccoli cheese soup and a loaf of french bread thanks to Pilsbury 
I loved it, little dude was NOT a fan of it which made for a lovely dinner environment…
Monday was a long day as little dude was at home due to his suspension on Friday. We made homemade Valentine’s for his class after a quick trip to the dollar store. I found a great recipe for better than take-out chinese food, which could be trouble because that is a major weakness for me! It turned out to be like a sweet General Tso’s Chicken. LOVE IT!
Valentine’s Day was low key at home with munchkin. Didn’t really do much of anything but hang out with her so it was a pretty good day Even snagged a little cat nap with her so I got lots of cuddles! Made hubby a yummy surf and turf dinner thanks to awesome sales at Publix!

Now I’m just hoping that this migraine goes away at some point because I have homework to do today!
